Job Title: Care Assistant – Live in

Locations: London

Pay Rate: £700 per week + Food allowance

Shifts available: 2 weeks on + 2 weeks off, on a rotation

Access to vehicle required: Yes, due to the requirements and location of the service user

We are currently looking for a care assistant for one of our bright spirited, fun and adventurous service users. If you are currently a care assistant in either a live-in role or in another setting and are looking to care for someone who has many hobbies, enjoys being out and about, going shopping, going for lunch and always open to trying new activities and overall enjoying life then this could be just the role for you!

We support all our Live-in Care Assistants and provide training as well as opportunities for career progression. You will be provided your own private room and have adequate breaks each day.

Duties will include:

  • Activities: such as medical appointments, days out, accessing community activities of choice, eating out, cinema, shopping, fun activities
  • Personal Care (bathing/showering/toileting/etc) Personal Care
  • Preparing and serving meals/snacks
  • Assisting with medication
  • Light domestic duties
  • Companionship

Key skills and attributes required:

  • Previous experience in a care setting
  • Experience caring for someone with Learning difficulties ideal but not essential
  • Caring, compassionate and a good listener
  • An energetic, happy person who enjoys forming relationships with people
  • Enhanced DBS
